I had a hard time choosing a topic for this model, but since we are about to start a unit on Mexican Traditions, I chose to use traditions for my lesson. I think that I can do this model a little easier, but I just have a hard time coming up with ideas.
I believe that you word traditions will generate a good word list to work with. I used the words roller coaster in mine because I was working with geometry students and the roller coaster is used in the next unit they are covering. I can come up with ideas my problem is fitting in what the teachers who are letting me come in and teach a lesson are working on. My lesson worked out pretty well, so I would use this model again.
