Concept attainment model
I am very concerned about the concept attainment model. I can see how it would work well in English and in math, but I am still not sure about Spanish. I don't know how complicated the concept should be. The girl that did the Spanish example was partly right with her concept, but not completely. Do we make sure that the entire concept with the exceptions are included?

I posted how my lesson went but I'm not sure that I did what I needed to do. I taught a concept that was included in a larger lesson. They needed to know the concept to understand the larger picture.
ReplyDeleteHi Peggy.. I'm also a little concerned about how this will work in my classroom. I do feel better now that I've seen it work.. read my post if you get a chance, I talked about that in my post this evening. See you Monday night!
ReplyDeleteHi Peggy, I maybe a little late on giving advice you will be finished with yours by the time you read this. Just look at the examples Dr. H. used in hers and think of something that you want your students in Spanish to learn. There are many things that you can give positive and negative examples of that can work. The examples are the key to the lesson. My lesson went well and I feel that that is where I learned the most. Good luck and I will see you Monday night.
